PRESS ROOM

HOME EXPERIENCE receiving features upgrade
Updated version of popular web-based homeowner resource to be released soon

April 13, 2010 (San Diego, CA) Home Experience, Compendia's online resource for homeowners is getting a major feature upgrade.

The new version, to be made available soon, builds on the already successful deployment of the personalized web portal for homeowners that contain critical documents such as builder and manufactured product warranties, maintenance schedules, and monthly task and tip reminders.

According to Compendia CEO Steve Fabry, the upcoming improvements and feature additions will "make Home Experience a vital and vibrant part of home ownership."

Dubbed Home Experience 2.0, the popular portal will increase the amount of personalization and interactivity the site currently maintains as well as take advantage of some newer web technologies. It will also add more dynamic home-related content.

"Homeowners will be delighted. Home builders will be delighted. Developers and property managers will be thrilled. This upcoming release has something for everyone," Fabry said.

Home Experience currently hosts thousands of homeowners living in hundreds of communites around the country. Each homeowner has their own personalized portal provided by Compendia on behalf of their homebuilder. The service, which includes a searchable electronic version of Compendia' industry standard Master Manual is customizable for each builder depending on need, scope and budget.

"In days when homeowners expect instant information online, innovation and value, it is a key differentiator for our home builder clients," Fabry said, "With all the features and functions, HomeX expands the homebuilder's customer lifecycle while reducing customer service costs."

Most homeowners use Home Experience to self-serve many routine problems a new home may experience.

Many of the new planned features were vetted with current Home Experience users. Last month a survey was sent to homeowners who offered their requests and suggestions for Home Experience 2.0.
