Home Care Companion provides comprehensive maintenance manuals for lower volume builders

Sept. 1, 2006 (SAN DIEGO, CA) To meet the growing needs of the diverse residential homebuilder market, Master Manuals unveiled its latest comprehensive maintenance manual, the Home Care Companion, aimed at custom, spec and modest volume builders.

Excised from the professionally-reviewed and approved content found in Master Manuals' standard Homeowner Maintenance Manuals, this scaled down edition spells out all the critical maintenance tasks a homeowner needs to properly maintain their home.

"We have created a cost effective solution for lower volume builders to provide their homeowner customers with the same maintenance best practices that their corporate cousins provide." said Steve Fabry "And, these manuals fulfill every state's Right to Repair obligations...even California's SB800 and Washington's SB5536, Texas' TRCC regulations and Arizona's HB 2620."

There are two versions of the Home Care Companion: the standard 190-page, spiral-bound, soft-covered retail version and the Builder Tailored Series (BTS). The BTS contains all the maintenance information found in the standard version, but provides customizing options such as brand placement on each page, community specific color cover, additional tabs for builders to include manufactured product warranty information and is presented in a high-quality three ring binder.

Additionally, unlike other retail brands currently on the market, the content is climate specific. There are multiple versions of the Home Care Companion that match every climate in the continental United States.

"A home in the Arizona desert does not have the same needs as a home in Georgia or Washington state or California," Fabry stated, "Our manuals incorporate the right maintenance best practices for the right climate."

According to Fabry, many builders who create their own maintenance documentation will find the Home Care Companion's lower price points an affordable solution. Those builders who use other references will find the solution more comprehensive than any on the market.

The Home Care Companion was written specifically with the homeowner in mind. Because legally-viable and customer-centric manual development is Master Manuals core competency, the Home care Companion is not an add-on product to inspections, insurance, training or warranty or other corollary service.
